Water: Pure & Simple

I have just received word from Footprints Orphanage that the $1000 raised from the England leg of my tour will be used to purchase an additional water tank at their site in Shimba Hills, Kenya. According to Footprints representative Kevin Curtis (pictured right), water is a major headache. He said, “We have to harvest water whenever it is available through the rains. This tank will be a permanent reminder of your tour and your contribution to the work of Footprints in caring for our wonderful children.”

Thanks to fans new and old for listening and supporting and contributing to this success. I’m delighted to learn that such a modest amount of money will help make life at the orphanage so much easier.
